How well protected will we be behind a mobile radiation barrier compared to a fixed screen?

Fixed Screens are the best solution as they are designed to suit purpose and cannot get positioned in wrong spot by an operator, hence creating radiation exposure issues. But sometimes space can be an issue, which is why we offer mobile radiation barriers.

What is scatter?

Scatter Radiation is a type of secondary radiation that occurs when the useful beam intercepts any object, causing some x-rays to be scattered. During an x-ray or fluoroscopic exam the patient is the most significant source of scatter radiation

What is a budget?

A budget is an estimate only (not a fixed price). You would ask your contractor for a budget to help you decide what finances you need to fund your project. Once you have approved a budget, you should then ask your contractor for a fixed price quotation.

How long will my project take?

This depends on your scope of works but here is a guide for you:

a) Complete Fit out: 6-12 weeks
b) Renovation: 3-8 weeks

How can I compare quotes…apples for apples?

We recommend you to decide on your scope of works first. Then send this same document to at least three contractors asking for a fixed price quotation. When you receive their quotations, you need to check the details against your scope of works to ensure everything you wanted has been covered.
